View port details

Storage hosts are systems that use storage system LUN resources. A logical unit number (LUN) is an identifier that is used for labeling and designating subsystems of physical or virtual storage.

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Select Hosts > Port Groups.
  3. Select the port group and click An icon showing the letter i.
  4. Click the number in the Ports field.
  5. Select a port and click An icon showing the letter i.
  6. Use the port details view to view and manage a port.

    The following properties display:

    Dir:Port—Storage system director and port in the port group.

    Identifier—IQN of an iSCSI endpoint or WWN of an FC port.

    Number of Port Groups—Number of port groups where the port is a member.

    Number of Masking Views—Number of masking views where the port is associated.

    Number of Masked Volumes—Number of volumes visible through the port.

    Number of Mapped Volumes—Number of volumes that are mapped to the port, including meta members.

    Volume Set Addressing—Indicates the status of volume set addressing: on or off.

    Ports Status—Whether the port is online or offline.

    Number of IP Interfaces—Number of IP interfaces associated with the iSCSI endpoint.

    Number of iSCSI Ports—Number of physical iSCSI ports associated with IP interfaces which are in turn attached to the iSCSI endpoint.
